A CID centre in Somalia capital hit by Car bomb
MOGADISHU, Somalia (Keydmedia.net) - A suicide bomber struck at the Criminal Investigation Department CID building of Somalia in Mogadishu, the latest in a wave of deadly attacks in the capital in less than a month.
Keydmedia English News Correspondent in Mogadishu say the car bomb exploded into the centre which is just 10 meters from the recently deadly explosion on ministerial building (Hargaha,Samaha) near to the KM4 intersection, a busy traffic circle in Mogadishu\'s administrative district.
Our Correspondent says after the bomber ripped the centre huge smoke raised that could be seen beyond the capital.
Security forces fired into the air to disperse the crowds.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. Suspicion is likely to fall on Al-Shabaab rebels.
"There was a heavy explosion and a car full of explosives was detonated at the CID centre, I could not tell the casualty” a witness told Keydmedia English News.
Details about the casualties are yet sketchy.
