Draught hits in some south Somali regions

The worst areas where the draught hit are Gedo region, and middle Jubba region and also there is lack of grazing forest that the animals could live longer, reports said.

The draught affected people and the livestock over there although aid agencies who used to help people in the poor conditions were all fired from southern of Somalia by Islamist militias of Al-shabab.

According to the residents in those regions, they say that people are complaining of hunger for food, thirst in addition to this, they equally share the problem to the internally displaced people from the capital, Mogadishu who are fleeing from endless violence in the capital, sources said.
