Local residents confirmed to Keydmedia English News service on the phone from El Bur town that the coalition forces from Ethiopian and Ahlu Sunna have left the area early this morning and are heading towards Guriceel district under ASWJ militia.

“The troops took everything with them including their military patrolling vehicles as they left their bases in El Bur town of Galgadud region of central Somalia,” a local resident told Keydmedia English News service.

Reports say the withdrawal came after a conflict erupted between the Ethiopian troops and the Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a officials who were controlling the area in the past.

Neither reason nor the source of the disagreement is yet known but it is clear that both Ahlu Sunna and Ethiopian troops abandoned the town, which lies 150 Km away from the border between Somalia and Ethiopia.
