Former Somali Intelligence chief sworn in as parliament member

MOGADISHU (KON) - Former Somali intelligence chief Bashir Gobe was sworn in as new parliament on Tuesday weeks after he was fired from his docket by the prime minister of the federal government, KON reports.

Mr. Gobe has replaced former Somalia Parliamentarian Qasim Mohmed Jama after he resigned and transferred his seat to him after receiving large sum of money, according to reliable sources. Both persons descend from the same tribe.
