Opposition tells PM what to keep in mid ahead of the election talks

MOGADISHU, Somalia -- Dahir Mohamud Gelle, former Information Minister, and a current presidential candidate has recommended to the acting Somali PM, Mohamed Hussein Rooble to prioritize ahead of the election conference that is due to take place on May 20.

He said that is essential for Mr. Rooble to keep in touch with five major issues and bear in mind before the opening of the conference that their demands are still invariable irrespective of who takes the lead and that the 17 Sep Agreement is the foundation and ice-breaking tool to breach the political impasse over the upcoming election.

He reminded that their support – as candidates alongside civil society and intl community – and hopeful thoughts are with him as long as his readiness to materialize things are in place despite the circumstance.

Geelle has pledged for more solidarity with the acting PM Rooble saying things are always as they seem and bringing sides to negotiating table could be solely resolved the stalemate.

He finally urged the PM to look back at the history to see the lessons learned in the past.
