General: If peace becomes out of reach, war is inevitable

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Gen. Yusuf Mohamed Siad alias (Indha-Adde) has voiced concern over the worsening situation in Somalia following the end of Farmajo's four years of authoritarianism.

The General accused the outgoing President of breaching the rule of law and an unreliable man who failed to observe his trustworthy and deliberate targeting of certain people in the name of governance.

While speaking about the situation in the country, he described the incumbent as an egocentric loner who is much overinflated solely in the Gedo region.

“He deployed the government troops newly provided armed vehicles to his respective region; the attack of certain political candidates like that of Wadajir Party leader is evidence enough that he has zero-tolerance,” he pointed out.

According to him, anyone who believes that sustaining power means to crackdown and oppress the people has no idea that we are fed up with that kind of administration.

He made a strong stance while talking to some of the leading figures in the national army like Gen. Bihi whom he accused of committing heinous crimes, including the betrayal of some respected figures, and that he still continues.

He called on the city-dwellers to stay strong and remained united against the incumbent regime. “If the peace has become out of reach, the war is inevitable,” he concluded.
