Parliamentary Committee of reconciliation calls PM to name mediation committee for clannish fighting

Dheg-tuur resident in Mudug region hosted on Sunday the worst fighting in the region in last history, after clan militias fought fiercely. At least 20 people have been killed and above 30 others were injured, eyewitness confirmed.

Somali elders condemned the fighting and called the elders in the resident to start mediation so as to avoid extra clashes.

Meanwhile, elders are holding extraordinary meeting in Gaka’yo town, the regional capital of Mudug, so as to start mediation. Some reports say that Galmudug State president also attended the meeting.
