We are raising money for Abdinasir S. Ibrahim, a 5000-meter athlete, who trains everyday in the intense African heat to be part of the London 2012 Olympic games.

As you can see in the video, Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia, has been devastated by two decades of civil war and anarchy.  Running through the center of the city, its one of the main roads known as the road of death. Unbelievably, that road is the main training road for Abdinasir. Every time Abdinasir puts on his running shoes, he risks his life. Abdinasir S. Ibrahim finished last in his heat in Beijing but determined to won GOLD in London.
