Senator sends warning to Parliament amidst rumors of PM removal

Mogadishu, Somalia -- The extraordinary session called by the acting Speaker on Saturday is surrounded by uncertainty with the distrust and doubt showed among the senators and MPs who questioned what to expect.

While the Parliament Speaker, Mohamed Mursal denied the rumors that they are hinting at a possible vote of the no-confidence motion against the acting PM, Mohamed Hussein Rooble, Abdi Hassan Awale alias (Qeybdid) who is a senator of the Upper House Senate, warned of the consequences that will arise if that move is to be taken. 

He remained of the current instability and unrest and urged to remain steadfast or otherwise will be held accountable to them.

Qeybdid has called on sides to return to talks based on 17 Sep Agreements to take the country forward by holding inclusive immediate elections.

The Senator described the ongoing deployment of government troops to the capital – while the PM and opposing sides agreed on a truce – as an inappropriate act of inciting hostility.
