Senior Somali police commander said, the problem of the insecurity is lack of salaries.

deputy chief commander of Somali transitional federal government police General Muktar Hassan Afrah declared that the problem of the insecurity situations in the country is part of lack of salaries.

 “It is really true that there are insecurity situations in the capital Mogadishu which government soldiers are part of  because of they don’t get salaries or wages”, deputy police chief commander.

Government soldiers are accused of robbing and going through people in the streets from what they have mobile phones and cash although it is believed that UDP pays the salary of the police, but this statement could be contradictory one.
