Somali PM names committee to end Mogadishu violence

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Somalia's caretaker Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has on Tuesday appointed a Technical Committee led by security minister Hassan Hundubey to advise on the resolution of the recent violence in Mogadishu earlier last week.

The 11-member committee is made up of ministers and lawmakers was given five days to find an immediate breakthrough to the circumstances resulted from the fighting that resulted in deaths and injuries.

The commission is scheduled to embark on the work and complete it within five days, starting from today, according to a statement issued by the office of Somalia's PM.
