Somali government launches a full investigation into PM’s assassination plot

“We are conducting an extensive and transparent full investigation to identify and expose figures that were behind Wednesday’s deadly National theatre bombings and then all those who are involved or implicated will face the full force of the law,” said the minister.

While speaking in a press conference held in Mogadishu the Minster of home and national security for TFG Abdisamad Mo’allin, said he was sorry about the unfortunate incident and they will assist them and share with them their grief the people of Mogadishu.

It was 4th of this month, when a deadly suicide explosion carried out a female bomber happened inside the newly reopened National Theatre in the capital, Mogadishu that left many people dead, including the country’s top sports officials. The government promised to conduct an investigation.

However, Analysts believe the blast at Theater was politically motivated attack to assassinate Somali PM Abdiweli Mohammed Ali.
