Somali Gov’t troops capture Al Qaeda foreign fighter at Kenyan border

KISMAYU, Somalia (Keydmedia)-Somali government soldiers in border region of lower Jubba said Saturday that they have captured a senior Al Qaeda-affiliated Al shabab militant with explosive devices, Keydmedia reports.

Mohammed Ali Osman, a TFG military official told Keydmedia Somali news desk in Kismayu that the Al shabab foreign fighter, a Tanzanian national, 30-years old was detained on Saturday as he was trying to cross into neighboring Kenya.

Me. Osman declined to speak about the exact location they seized the Al shabab-Al Qaeda militant. No Al shabab official was available for comment on the issue so far.
