Somalia: Two Civilians shot dead in Bakara Market

MOGADISHU (KON) - Unknown Gunmen have shot and killed two Civilians in Somalia's biggest market in Mogadishu, the latest in series of assassinations targeting police force members and people who work with gov't, KON reports.

Eyewitnesses said that a squad armed with pistols have publicly gunned down two civilians at a shopping centre near the main building of the privately-owned Hormuud telecom company in Bakara market on Monday noon. 

The armed men immediately fled from the crime  scene shortly after executing the two persons. Reports said Somali Security forces have reached the shooting area, but no one was arrested for the slaughter.
