Suicide car Bomb wounds Five in Somali capital

MOGADISHU, Somalia (Keydmedia) – At least Five people, including government soldiers were injured on Sunday after a car-packed with explosives went off near a densely populated big market in Mogadishu, Somali capital, Keydmedia reports.

Eyewitnesses told Keydmedia English News Service that a small luxury car-laden with explosives detonated close an army base at Suuq-Bacaad market in Mogadishu’s Yaqshid district, wounding 5 people, some Somali soldiers were among the victimized ones.

Mohaydin Mohammed Hassa Jurus, the commissioner of Yaqshid district who spoke with our Keydmedia English News correspondent in Mogadishu, confirmed that the soldiers intercepted the attack, but prevented from entering inside the market.

He added that security forces have reached the Bomb explosion site and began conducting search operation to know the masterminds.

No group has immediately said it was behind the suicide attack
