According to witnesses, several masked men have attacked with a grenade on a house in the heart of Beledweyne town, where former Hiiran governor Yusuf Ahmed Hadaris is locating. One civilian person was confirmed killed and 8 others injured.
"After the grenade attack, TFG soldiers guarding the governor opened fire randomly on all sides, injuring eight civilians. They were taken to hospital for treatment" a resident told Keydmedia English News by phone.
In another separate incident,one soldier has been killed on Tuesday morning after a grenade was launched on TFG troops at a café in the eastern village of Nuur-Hawad of Beledweyne town, 350 Km away north of the capital, Mogadishu.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but TFG officials confirmed the blasts, calling it as cowardly attacks by Al-shabab rebels against civilians.
