After lengthy and frank discussions in both occasions with the Somali Diaspora communities, he underlined the following points, which reflect the USA policy towards Somalia:

1. We will keep the expansion of AMISOM but will also help on rebuilding the Somalis securities forces.

2. We will not allow Somalis to be divided lands with 37 presidents

3. We will not recognize Somaliland as a separate state from Somalia

4. Kenya army should leave Somalia since they are not willing to be engaged with AMISOM. In addition,   they are not helping but hurting

5. Ethiopian forces are friends and they will stay to help Somalia

6.Diaspora communities should cease all current opportunities to find a solution for their country since USA is ready to support any new blood and new minds to form a new genuine govt.

7. US is fed up with corrupt TFG and wants to see a change now!

8. Istanbul Conference will be the last & final opportunity for Somalis to revise the Road Map and other policies which will pave the road to a fresh and effective Somali govt.

9. He stressed about corrupt officials and accuse the Gulf countries by handing out money to the TFG  and not following up how that money is used.

10. Yamamoto implied that US wants Sharif to go by the set deadline, but the puzzle is who will be accepted for replacement in August 20th, 2012 !!!
