Two young men armed with pistols have shot and killed a businessman in Wadajir, district, Mogadishu, Somali Capital, according to local media.

The dead include a senior PM aide, a mother, and her two toddlers while over a dozen of others were wounded in the deadly Al-Shabaab car bomb attack on Saturday.

The attack becomes the second in two days and comes amid a political crisis in the country between the PM and the outgoing president Farmajo.

The commander of the Turkish-trained special police known as Haram'ad was among those wounded in the confrontation in the capital.

There is no immediate information about other casualties in Today’s explosion in the capital, which becomes the second in the same sit since last month. It happened around the main government offices.

Footage from the scene showing people in a panic running on the street as gunfire echoed in the background. The deadly infighting continued for minutes, halting the public transport for a while.

The car bomb struck a convoy carrying Benadir regional police commander Farhan Mohamed Aden, known as "Farhan Qaroole" who survived the blast at the busy Banadir junction.
