On Tuesday, an assailant threw a grenade at several people who were shopping at a market in the center of Hargeisa. Twenty people sustained injuries as a result of the attack, a Press TV correspondent in Mogadishu reported.

No group has claimed responsibility for his murder, but such incidents bear all the hallmarks of past attacks in Somalia by Al-Shabaab militants.
