Al shabab beheads a man in southern Somalia town

Ali Aden, Somali MP confirmed to Keydmedia English News by phone from Bay region the beheading execution of the guy by Al shabab militants and he said the victim was previously in Al shabab and defected and joined late to Somali government forces in Bay region.

“Al Shabaab dumped the beheaded body along the road today, to scare the public,” a resident told Keydmedia on condition of anonymity.

“Shortly after we were informed the killing of the man, TFG troops moved towards the town and nearby Al shabab strongholds to clean militants out of the area and restore law and order soon,” the MP added.

Locals expressed sadness and anger at Al-Shabaab’s cruel killing against the man.
