Armed men involved in robbery captured in Somalia

MOGADISHU, Somalia -- The Somali security forces with the help of the Yaqshid district of Mogadishu have apprehended armed militias who were committing illegal acts including robbery.

The people of the district recently felt afraid of the robbers and were upset to go public in fear of being hurt.

However, last night, joint-operation conducted by the security forces and district commission have succeeded to capture the offenders who dressed up in army uniforms.

The police forces are crucial for maintaining social security with the former chief of Somali Custodial Corps who was speaking to the security forces informed them of the insecurity activities carried out by a terrorist group who made their way into the capital.
