NISA officer who harassed female protesters apologized to them!

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Dahir PS, a plain-clothed Somali Intelligence officer has publicly apologized to two girls for firing them during a peace pro-opposition protest in Mogadishu in December 2020.

He has asked for forgiveness from the ladies who are members of the Wadajir Party led by a leading opposition leader Abdirahman Abdishakur, who is a fierce critic of outgoing president Farmajo.

The NISA agent who pointed a pistol at the girls as they peacefully marching the street of Banadir junction to protest has expressed regret for his action and asked for forgiveness, is said in a statement released by the Party.

In video footage shared that gone viral on social media, Dahir is seen threatening the girls with them showing no action of retreat and firmly insisting to make their voice heard in the protest. 

However, in a recorded video clip he posted, Dahir said that he paid a visit to the Party house, and together with ladies, they agreed to personally forgive him – and that was an unfortunate incident that should be stood up to never happen again.

On their side, Deka Somali who among the three ladies responded with a satiable gesture saying everyone deserves to be forgiven – so does chief Dahir.
