District commissioner: TFG soldiers are spoilers against peace

MOGADISHU, Somalia (Keydmedia) - The district commissioner of Huriwa in Banadir region for Somalia government Omar Ja’fan, voiced concern about the insecurity acts against the local residents in the district, Keydmedia reports.

“Looting the properties of the residents and frequent harassment by the forces under Somali government are the major problems here today, especially as it affects the most vulnerable families who have recently returned home in Mogadishu,” he added.

Omar Ja’fan, told Keydmedia English News from Mogadishu that the local security troops under his administration have commenced search an d security operations to protect those accustomed to sabotage civilians and will be brought to justice as soon as possible.

This move came as residents in Huriwa district have repeatedly expressed alarming fear and lack of confidence on their current living condition in the district which is now getting its security worse each passing day.

Some People in Mogadishu accuse Somali government of failing to respond effectively soldiers who commit crimes against locals and restoring peace and law after Al-Shabab insurgents, withdrew from Mogadishu last august.
