“A convoy of trucks loaded with Ethiopian soldiers and equipment was seen leaving from their military bases town early this morning and heading to Dolow town at the border and we don’ know the reason the their pull out so far,” a witness told Keydmedia Somali Service by phone.

The security situation of Beled-Hawo, a town is reportedly calm after Ethiopians left and is under control of Somali government soldiers and their allied ASWJ fighters. Beled-Hawo is the second largest city in Gedo, the largest province in Somalia situated in the southwestern part of the country.

Ethiopian troops who are nor involved or part the AU forces have re-entered into Somalia last year to help TFG war on insurgents and started taking up military positions in south and central Somalia that left vacant by Al shabab militants, who have scaled back their presence across the country in recent months.
