Reports say that People of that district fear that fighting can break out any time as the militant group of Al-Shabaab are intensifying their defensive blocks around Bur-hakabo district to protect troops from entering it.

“The Ethiopian troops with tanks moved towards Bur-Hakaba and it’s not known when they will enter the stronghold town,” an official who declined to be identified told Keydmedia English News because he was not authorized to comment to the Media.

TFG troops aided by Ethiopian forces took control of Baidoa town last week, the capital of Bay region of southern Somalia from Al-shabab fighters without any fighting.
