Analysts say divisions between the international communities have been partly responsible for the failures in Somalia.

The president called senior TFG leaders to be united since successive Somali administrations have been crippled by internal disputes.

The president of transitional federal government of Somalia Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and the speaker of the parliament Sharif Hassan sheikh Adan are at logger heads over the timing of the presidential elections when the mandate of the government expires in August.

Meanwhile a UN organized meeting participated by key Somali politicians and international stakeholders has opened in the Kenyan capital.

Sources say the meeting will try to find a way out of the current crisis.

The speaker’s delegation is staying at Laico Regency Hotel while the president’s delegation is staying at Penari Hotel.

President met some Somali mps supporting his political agendas while the speaker also met his supporters separately.
