Media: 2012, worst year for Somali journalists - CPJ

Nairobi (KON) - The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has declared 2012 as the most dangerous year for Somali Journalists, even with three months to the end of the year.

The declaration came after two Somali journalists were killed in Mogadishu within a 24-hour period last Thursday and Friday, bringing to 10 the total number of journalists killed in Somalia this year in direct relation to their work.
