The shells were falling in Hodan, H/wadag and Karan districts of southern and northern of the capital Mogadishu and caused the death and injuries of civilians who were either their homes or trade centers, residents said.
Head of emergency ambulances in Mogadishu, Ali Muse Sheikh told local F.M station that they had collected over 25 injured ones and took to hospitals adding that there were private cares which also took wounded people.
It is not known the reason of the mortars that came a time there was no fighting between the Islamist militias and government forces backed by African union peacekeepers known as ‘AMISOM’
