Police arrests gangsters in Mogadishu.

Mogadishu (Keydmedia) - Somali policemen have conducted in Mogadishu last night and arrested at least 40 men including gangster and robbers armed with pistols, Somali police spokesman confirmed.

“Our police conducted the villages of Hamar weyne, Hamar Jajab and Waaberi districts in Bandir region and seized 40 criminals,” Abdullah Hasan Barise, Somali police spokesman told to media in a press conference.

He added that all detained criminals were involved in selling of drugs and other deeds against security.

 “All of them were jailed and are investigated,” Barise announced.

Somalia has no functioning government since 1991, when Dictator Mohamed Siyad Barre was ousted.
