Somali Parliamentary speaker becomes obstacle naming new cabinet

Somali new prime minister and Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, Somali president agreed the ministers in the outgoing cabinet to be renamed as ministers but, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan, Somali parliamentary speaker said the rift between him and the president will continue if his willing is not respected.

Reliable news sources said that Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan has displayed the list of the members he wants to include the upcoming ministers which Abdi Weli Mohamed Ali, newly named prime minister, refused to include his upcoming cabinet.

Former Somali prime minister resigned from his post after Somali parliamentary speaker said he can’t work with prime minister.

The current PM,Abdi Weli Mohamed Ali vowed he will resign if Somali parliamentary speaker continues his intervening of cabinet situation.

Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, Somali president and Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan, Somali parliamentary speaker who agreed in Kampala to oust former prime minister and name new one have pledged there will be no rift between them, but this confirms that their promise failed.
