Somalia: Gandi militias capture a car laden with explosives

KISMAYU, Somalia (Keydmedia) – Militia Forces loyal to the Somali renegade Warlord Gaandi at Qoqani town said they have on Saturday captured a man in a car laden with explosives that aimed to target their positions, Keydmedia reports.

Ismail Sahardiid,The militia commander of Gandi fighters confirmed to Keydmedia Somali that the seized suicide car bomb was sent from Afmadow town by Al shabab to carry out an explosion against Gandi and Kenyan military at Qoqani

“We were all aware of their suicidal preparations in Afmadow and elsewhere in their strongholds in the region, but we never thought they would penetrate our compounds. We knew they were masterminding this failed attack,” he added.

Al shabab, a terror group linked with Al Qaeda is waging more cowardly attacks against Somali government and its allied regional forces in south and central the conflict ravaged horn of Africa nation.
