Somalia: Renewed Fighting in Kismayo kills At least 5, injures 15 people

KISMAYO (KON) - At least Five people died and around 15 others were wounded in a renewed fighting in Somalia's Southern port city of Kismayo, the capital of Lower Jubba region, KON reports.

The clashes in Kismayo embarked after Ras Kambooni militia fighters have tried to disarm an armed group in the city, but turned down their order, leading to the death of several Soldiers and civilians. 

The security situation in Kismayo town is now unsteady after two armed groups clashed in Alanley area yesterday, at least 5 people were killed and others wounded during the fight. 

The wounded people during the clash between the sides  were rushed to hospitals in the city. The interim administration of Juba has not yet given comment about the clash in the town.
