KIMSYO (KON) - A senior security commander in the clan-based Jubba administration was injured in a gunfire broke out Sunday night in Somalia's southern seaside city of Kismayo, KON reports.

Mohamed Hassan Barre popularly known as (Gabobe), an intelligence chief  has been shot and wounded during a heavy barrage of bullets exchanged between the so called Juba police forces and military in Kismayo, capital of Lower Jubba province.

After the shooting of the militia commander, the city has turned into chaos, according to Residents  who spoke to KON on the phone. They said that there is a military build-up of both sides inside and around the town while the situation is tense now.
