Three die and five wound in Sharif Hasan arranged Demonstration in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (Keydmedia) - Three people, including a soldier died and five others mainly demonstrators were injured after government soldiers fight over the demonstration which aimed at endorsing the outcome of Nairobi conference.

Eyewitness told Keydmedia that the fighting began after some of Somali military tried to stop forcedly demonstration in Bondhere district of Banadir region and after their attempts special guards prepared to defend the demonstrators refused to stop the rally.

The demonstrator, who spoke to keydmedia said the fighting continued at least 30 minutes and three people including one soldier have been killed and five of demonstrators some of them seriously injured.

Secret report obtained by Keydmedia confirmed that Sharif Hasan Sheikh Adan, Somali parliamentary speaker spent US$50,000  to hold this demonstration backed to Nairobi ended meeting arranged by the United Nations special envoy for Somalia.

Sharif Hasan with view lawmakers and the regional president of Puntland, Galmudug state and some moderate Islamists participated that conference, but the transitional federal government (TFG) totally rejected to accept the result from it and pointed aim of the conference to instigate political instability in the country.

Reliable reports say the demonstration arranged by former Mugadishu mayor, Mohamed Omar Habeeb, after he received money from Sharif Hasan, but he denied the allegation.

Mohamed Dhere had been released from jail last month after government hailed him for suspect of masterminding indiscriminate killing in which at least four demonstrators were killed in February 15 this year, but he started after getting his freedom movements of rebellion.

This badly protest came day after Banadir region administration warned holding demonstrations not noticing to government authorities.
