We restore security with everyone’s help: minister

Somali minister for information, Abdikarin Ahmed Jama’said “it was the responsibility of Somali government to restore security of the country”.

Speaking to reporters in Mogadishu, the minister denied media reports that a foreign security firm will help the semi autonomous region of Puntland to fight piracy off the coast of Somalia.

However, Mr. Farole’s administration used the weapons provided by Saracen to kill innocent people in central Somalia.

The minister also said that they discussed with African union forces with ways to minimize civilian losses during clashes between African union forces and insurgents.
