Somali leaders’ talks in Mogadishu enter second day

MOGADISHU, Somalia - The leaders of the Somali government and regional administrations are in a closed-door meeting on the 2nd day at Villa Somalia, the state house in Mogadishu.

Sources told Keydmedia English service that the leaders are expected to finalize their talks today and issue a joint communique on the agreed points regarding the contentious issues.

The National Consultative Council [NCC] forum held the first gathering since the election of Hassan Sheikh as president of Somalia on May 15 this year. It comes amid political and security crises.
