NE YORK, US - The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attends the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly that opened on September 20, 2022, in New York City, USA.

The annual world leaders' summit focuses on reducing poverty, improving education, creating jobs for the youth, finding solutions to natural disasters, and the rights of marginalized people.

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to deliver a speech on the 22nd of September 2022, which is Thursday. He will brief the leaders on the security and drought situation in Somalia.
