Somalia’s election conference finally opens in the capital

It's expected that sides will reach unanimous pacts as Farmaajo who refused to give up for the good of the common interest and otherwise tried to sustain in power by forces has now no word in the discussion.

MOGADISHU, Somalia -- The caretaker Somali PM, Mohamed Hussein Rooble has kicked off the election conference in Afisyoni Camp that is being participated by the five regional leaders along with the mayor of Mogadishu.

The conference has started in a good atmosphere with no pre-conditions demanded by the sides precisely Modobe and Deni just they did in the past conference with the outgoing leader, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.

It's expected that sides will reach unanimous pacts as Farmajo who refused to give up for the good of the common interest and otherwise tried to sustain in power by forces has now no word in the discussion.

The international community has welcomed the conference calling on sides to end the deadlock surrounding the country’s future.

The conference is a political examination for the acting PM to pass the test as he is believed to have been held hostage by the outgoing leader ever since he nominated late last year.
