How Effective is Camel Milk in Managing Autism?
Nairobi (Keydmedia) - Camel milk is recently touted cure-all for Autism. Autism children should not drink cow's milk. It contains certain proteins that essentially damage the gut, which then in turn adversely affects the brain.
It appears that the partially digested proteins have a similar effect on the brain as opiate drugs like the morphine.
The specific proteins in the question are beta-casein and beta-lactoglobulin. Well, unlike cow's milk, camel milk does not contain these proteins and thus avoiding the problems mentioned.
In fact, evidence suggests that camel milk also activates certain immunoglobulins or antibodies that may actually improve the condition.
It is reported that children that drink camel milk better sleep, increased motor planning abilities and spatial awareness, more eye contact, improved language, as well as lessened gastrointestinal problems.
Also drinking camel milk in raw state best controls the symptoms of their inflammatory diseases.
