Heavy fighting erupts in Guri’el between ASWJ and allied troops

GURI'EL, Somalia - Heavy fighting between SNA and Galmudug soldiers on one side and Ahlu Sunna fighters has started in the Guriel town of the Galgadud region on Saturday morning. 

The battle started after the allied forces launched a multi-direction assault on the central city early in the morning, according to a local resident who spoke to Keydmedia Online by phone.

Details of the casualties remained murky.
